How the preset is tuned
Slowed + reverb depends on the balance between the two effects. Pull the tempo down around 20% and the mix turns muddy unless the reverb opens up around it. The generator lands every track on that balance first, then lets you adjust the faders yourself. It's the same tuning behind the 1,900+ slowed remixes on the Reverbify YouTube channel, so the starting point already sounds like the edits you know. However, just dropping the speed to 0.8x doesn't get you the sound on its own.
How to make a slowed and reverb edit
- Drop your song above. The slowed + reverb preset applies on the spot and playback starts. What you hear is the actual remix.
- Shape it. Slow it further for a heavier mood, or ease back toward the original. Pick a reverb room (anything from a tight drum room to a full cathedral) and set how wet it sits. Nudge the EQ if the bass needs room.
- Download. The export renders offline at full quality and saves as a WAV, named after your track and preset.
Why in the browser?
Most slowed and reverb makers upload your file to a server, process it there, and make you wait for a download link. Reverbify runs the whole effect chain on your device with the Web Audio API. You hear every change right away, your music never leaves your machine, and there's no queue, quota, or watermark. That being said, if the song you want to slow lives on Spotify rather than in a file, the free extension can apply the same effect live inside the Spotify web player.
